Nationwide Auto Transport | Countrywide Auto Transport

Nationwide Auto Transport time is really based on the distance your automobile is being moved and the number of cars that are on the trailer.  There are certain ballparks that are industry standards, pending there are no major mechanical or weather delays.  It is important as a consumer to be aware of the window that is typically standard for the move you are doing as expectation play a major role in how you consider the experience to be.  Many new, or less than reputable, companies that are involved in nationwide auto transport will over promise to customers the expected times.  Unfortunately these expectations are used by these non-reputable companies to convince customers to use their service and after their car arrives 5 days later than expected it is too late and you are left renting a car or making arrangements and in the end sometimes paying more than if you had hired a reputable transporter.
In order to give consumers a realistic expectation of the time frame we have created some ballpark figures from major cities so you know what to expect.  Of course these are not fixed times as there are always exceptions based on certain variables.

Automobiles from one coast to the other, the general rule of thumb is 7-10 days.  This would be from Boston to Los Angeles or Orlando to San Francisco.  Vehicles headed northbound or south will generally be 5-7 days for transport.  Examples of that run will be Miami to New York or Seattle to Phoenix.  The final range will be in the 3-5 day window, generally these runs will be in the ballpark of 1000 miles but be runs into or out of the midwest.  Examples of this will be Denver to Chicago or Dallas to Columbus.  On average a single truck driver will go 500-700 miles per day if he does not need to make any stops, depends on weather and how fast of a driver.  Things that can speed up your nationwide auto transport is if you have what is called a “team truck.”  This term is used to refer to two drivers in the same truck and this means that on long coast to coast runs the truck is only stopped for restroom and food breaks and refueling.  This can greatly speed up the time your car is being transported but keep in mind that this is not the majority of trucks on the road that have this particular setup.

With any nationwide auto transport company it is key that you research them and keep in mind that you want to look at the reputation of companies on the Better Business Bureau so you know you are being given realistic time frames by an honest company.
